A good and funny anime :)

At least I tried, but I ended up dropping this show after episode 8. The first two episodes seemed like it would at least be entertaining as they introduced a plot that was familiar yet had potential. I will admit that I laughed at some of the jokes in the beginning, There was some charm over them and and they just fell in naturally, the jokes was never forced. Then the story seemed to forget all about it's actual plot and they started focusing on completely different things that felt very meaningless. Characters are basic moe anime girls, nothing unique, looks like they could be from any other moe anime show, they are absolutely cute, just like moe anime girls should be, and I was hoping to find them more likeable as the story progress. Unfortunately they don't really seem to develop. I could be wrong, there's a chance they become better by the end, but usually they have developed a bit by the eight episode, but not in this case. I think the main problem is that there are too many characters and that makes it hard to focus on development for their personalities. The only character that truly stands out is Alfred the duck. The insert music is actually good and I personally have a soft spot for J-pop, but the music tends to be very unfitting with the scenes. There were several times where they played this really intense happy insert songs for a completely normal conversation, and it just didn't feel right. The one thing I will admit was great on the other hand was the actual animation. It looks excellent, mostly. There are a lot of details put to almost every scene, it rarely lacks motions, there are times where the animation looks cheap, but that's mostly for comedic effects, and once every now and then they only use still frames, but there's usually so much animation going on and even in the background that I heavily considered forgiving it. I was almost about to at least give the animation a 5-star, until I saw the hidious looking CGI being used for when the idol scenes pops up. it went from cute and gorgous to just bad and even lagging at the moment they started having idol girls dancing. It only appears to be a problem when the dance scenes are animated, so I won't pull back too much on my score, but I still can't give the animation a perfect score.
