I almost gave up on this animé, but then suddenly the wrestling elements came back for full and I was hooked again. I hated the animal-loving part, it was cringing..

To me, a good comedy will never be anything more than a good comedy. Hataage! Kemono Michi is exactly that, a good comedy, and that's exactly what I would expect from the creator of one of my favourite comedies, Konosuba. Though this didn't quite reach the same height as Konosuba, it still gave me a good laugh. I couldn't help feeling that there was a lack of character development, but it was nice to see somebody different than the usual stereotypes. The one thing that truly could have been better is the animation. It often seemed cheap, and the studio took a lot of shortcuts. The final battle was mostly just a bunch of still images, and that is really not impressive. Still, even though the animation could have been handled differently, I did enjoy the show.
