Where do I even begin. The story is that type that doesn't really have a main plot, it just has a setting and every episode has its own plot, and every episode delivers a plot worthy of your time. Honestly, I miss shows like this, shows where you can jump in at almost any episode without having to know what happened before, except the two final episodes, and woah, what an ending it has, it is just so satisfying. The characters are stereotypical, but in a good way, the main characters has a lot of development and are easy to like, some of the supportive characters also has a fair treatment. Just for fun I tried comparing the dub to the sub this time because I've heard so many talking about how Cowboy Bebop is even better dubbed. I have mixed opinions, in one way the dialects suits the characters, but there are times where I felt they could have put more emotions to the voice acting, but that is just me nitpicking. The music feels very nostalgic for some reason, though I'm a rocker I will admit that I have a sweet spot for jazz and there's a lot of jazz and bossanova being used here which fits really well with all the scenes. Which brings me to the animation. Considering that this is a 26 episode long show from 1998, it's insanely good. This is so well animated that it puts a lot of modern anime to shame, even the CGI looks good, and that's rare, especially for a show this old, I only counted three times where they just used still frames for a few seconds, but beside of those there were never a motionless moment. There aren't many anime's that I'll refer to as a MASTERPIECE, but Cowboy Bebop truly is a MASTERPIECE.
